Austin

for the past few days Molly and I have sent our spring break with our family in Austin and in San Antonio.  The first day we were there Todd and I went to downtown Austin while Molly ran her 9 miles around Town Lake.  Before going down to south congress we had lunch at an amazing little taco shack called Taco Deli. Officially my new favorite taco place... ever! Todd and I took our cameras around Austin that day in hopes to get some good shots, and we did! We started in south congress and found this cool little fair style Thai restaurant. You know the trailer like places that normally sell funnel cakes? Ya, this one sold thai food!! I could seriously eat that stuff everyday. Like today's lunch... mmmm panang curry! After that we picked up Molly and Todd took us to Mt. Bonnell. This is the highest point in Austin at 775 feet. (Fayetteville- 1440 feet!) But hey, who's counting?! This place was seriously cool with some seriously cool houses on the side of the bluff and on the river below. One place had two private docks!!! We then went to Mayfield Park to check out the peacocks! Absolutely beautiful! It was awesome to be so close to such beautiful birds. The whole time I was thinking about what great engagement shots I could get there! This concluded our day out and our time in Austin.

here are some shots to commemorate:
