This is the title of my wife's Limeade's for Learning project. I wanted to rant for a bit about how amazing she is.
For the past three years, Molly has been submitting projects to be funded simply to better the learning environment for her students. If you all don't know, she is an elementary music teacher and she Rocks!!! Although she may not admit it, she is absolutely incredible at what she does. Her students feel so safe with her and learn a ton! In the past she has had projects funded for musical equipment in her classroom. This year she made a project to get a 64g iPod Touch. This will allow her to put all her music on the iPod so it can be more portable and all in one place! She will also be able to utilize all the applications that will benefit her students. Below is a link to her page on the Limeade's for Learning website. All you have to do is vote with a valid email address once a day. You can also vote two extra times a day buy purchasing a drink from Sonic™ and use the coupon attached to the cup!

Riffraff prints!
Well as you may have already guessed, that is what this post is about. I had the idea a few weeks back about putting some of my prints in at some local stores. Riffraff being one of them, is a unique little store on the square. They specialize in trendy antique style goods geared towards the ladies, so I really had to brainstorm for this one! Ha, or just ask my wife!! My idea was to photograph the different sorority houses before bid day this Sunday, when all the girls find out what houses they are in, and frame them to be sold in the store. I went out Monday morning before sunrise and got some photos, bought the frames and some ribbon to match. I took them in today and they are now for sale in the store. They put them up on Facebook, so go check them out!! If they sell well, I'll do some more and possibly do different stuff in the future. Things like shots of Dickson street or the Razorbacks.

Jenna + Drew | engagement
This shoot has been the most special one to me so far, but I will say that their wedding might just be a step up! I have had the great pleasure to have spent the past 4 years living in the same town as Jenna. Molly and I also had a great time when she lived with us this past summer before moving to OKC. Drew came along with us on our family vacation this summer to Tennessee, and we decided it would be the perfect place for an engagement shoot.

Canon EOS 7D
I am now the new owner of, you guessed it, a Canon EOS 7D! I'm so pumped about this new camera. It really couldn't have come at a better time either. I will be flying to Austin next week to shoot 3 weddings with a couple friends of mine. They both shoot Canon and they have 5D mark II's and 7D's. One of my buddies said that he is actually using his 5D mark II as his backup to his 7D. I was originally planning on renting it from BorrowLenses.com, but I book a wedding on Monday, so I had enough down to purchase the camera. A bit of solid advise that I've received from many a fellow photog, was to NOT GO INTO DEBT!!! They said to purchase things only with money made through shoots. This advise has also made it all so much more exciting! Anyways... enough ranting. Time to read the owners manual!!

B. Perry Photography photo shoot
So this morning I had a wonderful opportunity to shoot a newborn session for Blaire Perry of B. Perry Photography! I loved being about to see all the inter-workings that go into making a newborn shoot rock! But don't take my word for it!
Just look at these awesome photos I got:

engagement | Tyler and Lesa
I had an absolute blast hanging out with these two!! They are so very creative and such a joy to be around. And did I say photogenic?? Man! They make me look good! ha. Tyler is a student athlete at UCO. He is a basketball player who is also going to Med School! Lesa also went to UCO and fun fact, she is from the United Kingdom, so you know we played that one up!

Amaranth Collection fashion shoot
Before Molly and I drove to Austin in the middle of the night, we were in Tulsa doing a photo shoot for my good friend Elizabeth Hughes and her company, Amaranth Collection! We had an awesome time and I was able to get some stunning photographs of some stunning models! One in particular (My Wife!!!). I love the work that Elizabeth does and she is so great to work with! Super professional and friendly. Check out her stuff and take a look at her facebook page!
